In life, layers of memories, emotions, and the residues of others accumulate upon our inner core, much like barnacles attaching to a surface and forming interconnected clusters. Yet this proliferation is not merely sedimentation or fossilization. Through the act of layering heterogeneous materials onto the surface of an object, the artist visualizes the moment when experiences and emotions—shaped and accumulated within finite time—shift from isolated remnants to mediators that reconnect us with others and the world. This sculptural aggregation is not an assembly of objects; it is a stratified record of time and relation in which fleeting experiences regain significance within a relational network, revealing a singular and irreplaceable sense of existence.
