Barnacle

The image of barnacles clinging densely to a rock, half submerged in water and half exposed, mirrors our existence teetering on the edge between life and death, ideals and reality. Simply by being born and living in this world, countless forms of experiences, moments of life, and indescribable emotions accumulate layer upon layer on our pure human essence. In that extremely narrow space, we live desperately, with every sorrow and joy we encounter becoming both fleeting moments and eternal marks, forming the unique and complete existence of 'myself' in this world. 

따개비

반은 물에 잠겨있고, 반은 밖으로 나와 있는 바위 위에 덕지덕지 따개비로 덮인 모습은 마치 삶과 죽음, 이상과 현실 한 끗 사이에 걸쳐 존재하는 우리 모습 같다. 세상에 태어나 살아간다는 이유만으로 순수 인간 위에 다양한 형태의 경험과 삶의 순간들, 형용할 수 없는 무수한 감정들이 겹겹이 쌓여간다. 지극히 작디작은 그 한 끗 사이에서 처절히 살아가며 마주하는 모든 슬픔도 행복도 순간의 찰나이자 영원한 흔적이 되어 이 세상 속 유일무이한 '나 자신'이라는 오롯한 존재를 이룬다.
