In this condition, objects originally devised for function and utility begin to overwhelm their very makers—a modern inversion of subject and object that provokes persistent ontological doubt about the fundamental value of human existence.

Crack Crack, whose title denotes rupture and fissure, emerges from these critical questions regarding being within the rigid structures of materialism and contemporary civilization. The work captures the social conditions in which the essence of existence is eroded through both tangible and intangible forms of pressure, and it gives sculptural form to the act of striking, breaking through, and reclaiming agency against such hardened systems.

거대 도시의 마천루 사이를 부유하는 개인의 걸음은 무력한 몸짓으로 환원되고, 한때 고귀한 결실로 여겨지던 실존은 무수한 군중 속 하나의 익명적 객체로 전락하며 실존적 위축을 마주하는 시대로 진입했다.
